A really, really hard week...Week 14
Hi everyone! New week here, and a lot happened. I don't have any pictures, but I have a lot of experiences. The first is of a woman we met. She lives alone cause her husband left her. She had three kids, one girl, and two boys, one of them with downs. However she lost her daughter when she was 34 years old. She has lived a hard life. When I first contacted her, she seemed like we didn't want to talk, but I felt inspired to share something about the plan of salvation and the healing power of Jesus Christ. And that led to us giving her a blessing and then that led to her having questions about the Book of Mormon, tithing, and why we are called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We meet with her tomorrow, so that will be fun :) The next thing is about Cesar, the most recent convert in Acuna. He started asking a lot of questions about phylisophy and things like that. Then he ended up not coming to church this week, so that's sad. We are really starting to ...
